Interface Polymers Wins Prestigious CCE-JEC Innovation Award 2024 for Polarfin® PP Adhesion Promoter

Interface Polymers is thrilled to announce that our Polarfin® PP Adhesion Promoter product PP60 has been recognised as a winner at the CCE-JEC Innovation Awards 2024. This achievement was showcased at the Innovative Products Showcase during the 27th China Composite Expo 2024 in Shanghai.

The global use of polypropylene composites is rapidly expanding across sectors such as automotive, leisure, and sporting goods. However, effective adhesion to polypropylene surfaces remains a significant challenge, limiting its use in broader applications. Frequently, achieving robust adhesion has required hazardous primers or costly pretreatments, such as flame or plasma, which often only provide a narrow bonding window, adding complexity to manufacturing and logistics.

Our breakthrough PP60 Adhesion Promoting Film offers a groundbreaking solution. This innovative film can be easily laminated onto polypropylene parts, creating a permanent bondable surface for a wide range of coatings and adhesives, eliminating the need for complex physical or chemical pretreatments. This enables customers to transition to polypropylene composites that are cost-effective, lightweight, and recyclable without compromise.
