Ross has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and chemicals industry, including eight years as an Executive Vice President at Infineum International Limited.
Prior to taking up this role in 2021, Ross provided business planning, analysis and communications support to Interface Polymers Ltd for two years through his own company, Brightfield Gold.
He has a bachelor’s degree in statistics and psychology from The University of Melbourne, Australia.
Christopher’s PhD and post-doctoral research at the University of Warwick generated the intellectual property on which Interface Polymers Ltd is based. Both Chris and his academic supervisor Professor Peter Scott, were quick to see the commercial potential of the breakthrough, and Chris soon saw a future for himself as an entrepreneur.
Along with his invaluable scientific expertise, Chris brings his wonderfully infectious enthusiasm, entrepreneurial passion and a relentless ambition to turn his discovery into a huge commercial success.
Oliver holds a MSc. in Business Administration from the Otto Beisheim School of Management at WHU, a leading institution globally recognized for its excellence in business education. During his time at WHU he researched negotiations between startups and established companies, focusing on strategies and the role of deceptive negotiation tactics. His professional background is centred on management consulting and financial analysis, with significant experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors through roles at Porsche and INVERTO.
Teresa is an experienced Company Secretary and Administration Manager who is critical to the smooth running of the business, overseeing Interface Polymers purchasing, HR, Accounting and general administration.
Simon has an impressive track record in marketing and business development roles in the plastics industry including 24 years with Dow Chemical Company. Along with his substantial commercial experience in polymer-based product innovation, he brings a wealth of senior contacts across the European plastics industry and its value chains.
Simon has a BSc (Hons) in Material Science and Polymer Chemistry, from Brunel University.
Prashant joined Interface Polymers in 2022 to spearhead the development of IPL’s manufacturing processes.
A chemical engineer by academic training, Prashant has a more than a decade of experience across multiple chemical sectors in complex process development, project management, process engineering/process safety and technical equipment procurement. As an experienced process engineer with a demonstrated history of delivery from concept to commissioning, Prashant leads IPL’s manufacturing function as a member of the executive team and acts as country manager for IPL in India.
Shaun has been a driving force at Interface Polymers Ltd since its inception. With an MChem from the University of Warwick, Shaun brings expertise in polymer synthesis, analysis, scale-up, and application testing and has spearheaded the development and commercialisation of our cutting-edge Polarfin® surface modification products.
Onnicha graduated with a master’s degree in Polymer Science from the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Thailand. She worked as a Technical Service and Development Engineer for three years at SCG Chemicals, the leading petrochemical company in ASEAN. Recently, she graduated from The University of Liverpool with a master’s degree in international business. Onnicha is implementing Polarfin® technology with converters, packagers and brand owners to overcome their recycling challenges, achieving their sustainability goals and enabling a circular economy.
Luke has worked in the polymer industry since 1988. He started out working with compound development of thermoplastic elastomers, then spent an extended period working with mineral fire retardants and fillers. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Polymer Engineering from University of North London, and a PhD in the use of Mineral Fire Retardants from the University of Central Lancashire. Luke joined Interface Polymers in 2018, where he developed the commercial applications of Polarfin® technology in conjunction with our chemists and industrial partners.
After interning with Interface Polymers in 2019, Alex rejoined the team in 2021 following the completion of a BEng (Hons) in Biomaterials Engineering from Loughborough University. In his current role, Alex plays a crucial part in supporting product development and customer trials, as well as conducting applications testing and contributing to the commercialisation efforts of Interface Polymers’ surface modification products, which encompass adhesion promoters and anti-fog solutions.
Alessia leads our polymer synthesis efforts as well as our process and technology scale up strategy. She not only supports manufacturing and optimisation activities but also spearheads extensive new development initiatives, helping to drive our continuous innovation in plastics recyclability of polyolefins.
With a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, Andrew has been an integral part of Interface Polymers since 2019. Specialising in diblock synthesis and characterisation, Andrew plays a pivotal role in supporting commercial development teams, driving innovation in the field of Polarfin® diblock technology.
